Submit your documents

After you鈥檝e applied to 中出影院, you must submit certain academic information in order for 中出影院 to evaluate your application and determine whether you鈥檒l receive an offer of admission.

Once you have applied, you can check for these instructions in the聽. You can also use the tool below to get a sense of what to expect. Please do not submit documents prior to completing your 中出影院 application.

If your deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Canadian statutory holiday, your documents will be due the next business day. Documents received after your deadline will be accepted as long as your school has requested them before that date. If you applied to a program that closed after January 15, your deadline might be later than those listed below. Please check your 鈥淵our 中出影院 Application 鈥� Next Steps鈥� email for details.

Canadian high school students

British Columbia and Yukon

If you applied directly from high school, you鈥檒l need to聽authorize 中出影院 to receive your grades from the BC Ministry of Education. To do so, you must聽, and then follow the instructions at the聽.

When you order your transcript, select the option to 鈥渟end my transcript now and allow this post-secondary institution to request transcript updates.鈥� Choose the default date (one year from the date of your order) so that 中出影院 receives your grades throughout the year.

Do not send a paper copy of your transcript or report card.

February 15 Deadline to submit your language 11 waiver (if applicable).

If you entered the BC or Yukon school system after Grade 9, you are currently attending high school, and you applied to 中出影院鈥檚 Vancouver campus, your counsellor or principal must submit a language 11 waiver request on your behalf. The request should be sent to聽language11.waiver@ubc.ca聽and must include: your 中出影院 student number, and the date you entered the BC or Yukon school system.
March to April 中出影院 will request and receive your grades and courses in progress directly from the BC Ministry of Education, including distributed learning course information submitted to the Ministry.

Please do not send paper copies of transcripts or report cards.
June 30 Deadline to complete all coursework to meet 中出影院鈥檚 admissions requirements, including all distributed learning courses.
July 31 中出影院 will receive your final grades from the BC Ministry of Education, including your final grades for all distributed learning courses. Please ensure your distributed learning provider submits your final grades to the Ministry of Education in time for 中出影院 to access these on July 31.

 

Ontario

If you applied directly from high school, 中出影院 will receive your grades electronically as long as you provided your Ontario Universities鈥� Application Centre (OUAC) reference number when you聽completed the online application聽to 中出影院.

February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
March 15 Deadline for 中出影院 to receive your grades through OUAC for your 中出影院 academic assessment.
June 30 Deadline to complete all coursework to meet 中出影院鈥檚 admissions requirements, including all distributed learning courses.
July 31 中出影院 will receive your final grades through OUAC.

 

Other Canadian provinces and territories

If you applied directly from high school, you鈥檒l receive an email with instructions on how to upload copies of your transcript of grades and/or report card to the. Your documents must be in PDF, TIFF, or JPG format, and must not exceed 2 MB.

If you have completed two years of CEGEP, please refer to the document submission instructions for聽post-secondary institutions in Canada.

March 1 鈥� March 15 Upload your interim transcript of grades and/or report card, including interim (at least 50% complete) grades for distributed learning courses, to the聽聽for your 中出影院 academic assessment.
June 30 Deadline to complete all coursework to meet 中出影院鈥檚 admissions requirements, including all distributed learning courses.
July 31 Deadline to submit your final transcripts (electronic copies preferred).

 

Students who graduated from a Canadian high school before applying to 中出影院

If you applied to 中出影院 after you graduated from a high school in Canada, you will receive instructions on how to submit your government-issued high school transcript electronically or via the聽.

February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or send an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
March 15 Deadline to submit your final grades. All courses required for admission to 中出影院, including distributed learning courses, must be completed and appear with a final grade on an official Ministry of Education transcript by this date. Upgraders are encouraged to submit confirmation of completed courses as soon as possible.

International high school students

You鈥檒l receive an email with instructions on how to upload your transcripts and documents. Please check the聽聽to find out what documents are required to be submitted.

中出影院 encourages the submission of transcripts and documents electronically wherever possible. If this option is available to you, talk to your school counsellor about sending 中出影院 your documents through a third-party provider.

If you attended or are currently attending a Canadian high school outside of Canada, please refer to the document submission instructions for聽Canadian high school students.

American curricula

February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
March 15 Deadline to submit transcripts which show courses in progress if you are currently attending high school.

Deadline to submit final transcripts if you graduated from high school before applying to 中出影院.

Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the SAT/ACT requirement.聽The submission of standardized test scores will be optional for 2024 applicants. Applicants who have a SAT or ACT test score and would like them to be considered as part of the 中出影院 admissions process are welcome to submit their test score. Applicants will not be at a disadvantage if they cannot or choose not to submit a test score.
June 30 Deadline to submit final transcripts if you are currently attending high school.

 

British-patterned education

March 15 Deadline to submit transcripts which show courses in progress if you are currently attending high school.

All other international curricula

Canadian university or college transfer students

Please check the聽聽for details on what documents you need to submit to 中出影院 and how to submit them.

中出影院 will ask for your transcript in one of the following ways:

  • We may ask that you request for your electronic transcript to be sent directly to 中出影院 from your participating BC institution(s): Capilano University, Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Langara College, and University of the Fraser Valley.
  • We may ask you to upload your documents to the聽聽All transcripts must include your institution name and your full name.
  • We may ask that you request for your university, college, or CEGEP to email a PDF copy of your transcript directly to 中出影院 at聽final.grades@ubc.ca.
    • If your institution cannot provide an emailed PDF copy or an electronic transcript, you must request for your university, college, or CEGEP to mail a paper copy directly to 中出影院.
January 31 Deadline to submit interim transcripts if you are currently attending university or college, and you applied to 中出影院 by December 1.
January 31 Deadline to submit final transcripts if you completed university or college before applying to 中出影院.
February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
May 15 Deadline to submit final transcripts if you are currently attending university or college.

Exceptions:

  • If you applied to Midwifery or Nursing on 中出影院鈥檚 Vancouver campus, please see your offer letter for your deadline.

International university or college transfer students

Official transcripts must be sent directly from your university or college to 中出影院.

Please check the聽聽for details on what documents you need to submit.

  • You may be asked to upload documents directly to your Applicant Service Centre account. For instructions, check the email you received after submitting your application, titled 鈥淵our 中出影院 Application 鈥� Next Steps鈥�.
  • Documents can also be submitted by having your university or college email a copy directly to 中出影院 at聽final.grades@ubc.ca.聽Documents submitted through a third-party provider, such as Clearinghouse, are also accepted.

Transcript images should:

  • Be issued in the original language of instruction.
  • Prominently display the school鈥檚 logo, stamp, or seal.
  • Include the front and back of your transcript.

United States

February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
March 15 Deadline to submit interim transcripts if you are currently attending university or college.

Deadline to submit final transcripts if you have already graduated from university or college before applying to 中出影院.
May 31 Deadline to submit final transcripts if you are currently attending university or college.

 

Outside Canada and the United States

February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
May 31 聽Deadline to submit final transcripts.

Advanced Placement students

July 31 Deadline to submit your Advanced Placement (AP) exam results.聽聽and request that your results be sent directly to 中出影院 (institution code 0965).聽Please do not mail your personal copy of your AP exam results sheet.

International Baccalaureate students

Canadian high schools

February 15 Deadline to submit documents showing you meet the聽English Language Admission Standard (ELAS), or an聽ELAS waiver request聽and supporting documentation.
February 15 Deadline for 中出影院 to receive your IB diploma anticipated score results. The Undergraduate Admissions Office will contact your IB coordinator directly for your grades information.
July 31 Deadline to submit your final transcripts.聽聽send your official results to 中出影院 electronically.聽Please do not mail your personal copy of your IB diploma.

International high schools

March 15 Deadline to submit your anticipated IB scores and interim school transcripts if you are currently attending high school. Please have your IB coordinator complete the聽Anticipated IB grades for 中出影院聽form below,聽and then follow the instructions on the聽聽to submit this document聽and聽your interim transcripts via document upload.

We are aware that in some jurisdictions, schools do not release anticipated IB scores to students. If your school follows this pattern and does not share anticipated IB scores with students, please have your counsellor or IB Coordinator聽send these directly to 中出影院.
March 15 Deadline to submit your final transcripts if you have already graduated from high school. Please聽聽and have your official results submitted to 中出影院 electronically.聽Please do not mail your personal copy of your IB diploma.

Where to submit your documents

Where you submit your documents depends on whether you are asking to submit an unofficial document or an official document. An official document is one sent directly from your school or a designated third-party verification service. An unofficial document comes directly from a student.

Refer to the聽聽regularly to check which types of documents you need to submit.

If you are asked to submit an unofficial document you can:

  • upload it into the Applicant Service Centre
  • send it by聽email聽to 中出影院

If you are asked to submit an official document you can ask your school to:

  • send it by聽email
  • use an approved third-party delivery platform such as Clearinghouse or MyCreds
  • send it by mail. Documents for undergraduate applications to the Okanagan and Vancouver campuses may be sent to:

Note that official documents need to be sent by your school. Students cannot submit an official document.

中出影院 will only review requested documents. If you send documents that were not requested, it will delay our evaluation of your application.

Wondering if 中出影院 has received your documents?

It will take 4 to 6 weeks for us to process your documents and indicate that we have received them in the聽. Once you have submitted your documents, know we will honour the date it was submitted.聽Thank you for your patience!

中出影院 encourages the submission of transcripts and documents electronically wherever possible.

Irreplaceable documents

Documents submitted in support of an application become the property of 中出影院 and will not be returned unless they are irreplaceable (e.g. graduation certificates). If you are submitting an irreplaceable document, please聽contact us聽to make arrangements for delivery to 中出影院, and complete and submit the form below with your documents so we can return them once 中出影院鈥檚 evaluation of your application is complete.
